About skypro  costumes

Your maker

25 year old Deanna Biesemeyer has been making costumes since she was 12, improving her skills as a maker to provide the fandom with wearable art.  It’s been a long road creating fursuits, and at this point it is a passion to me to provide my customers with the best I can offer.  The drive to make suits for me is not in the money, but in seeing how excited people are when they receive their costume, and that is why I try so hard to give it my all when it comes to being a crafter.  Although I am still learning new things, it has been a fun and wonderfully fulfilling job to see my customers open their box for the first time receiving their suit, and enjoying it for years to come.  Nothing warms my heart more, I hope I can do the same for future customers for years to come!

The work shop

Skypro’s workshop is located in Phoenix, Arizona.  Our shop is currently within our home.  We have a spacious room where all the suits are made and a separate fur room to insure the best storage for our fur stock.  Although small now, in the future we plan to expand into our own building, but for now we enjoy the warm cozy comforts of home while making fuzzy animal costumes.

Furs

Here at skypro costumes we want to make sure you get the best fur we can find to match the colors of your suit.  Most of our inventory is found in the LA fashion district, this give us the chance to touch and get hands on with matching furs to get as close to or exact colors for your character.  We also go on local hunts for fur here in Phoenix, AZ, on rare occasion we do order online or if a customer wants a specific fur we will also cater to finding that fur or a close color/texture to the  requested item.

Meet our mascot Sky

Sky is a 25 year old thoroughbred quarter horse cross that was given to deanna through donation after losing her first horse Dutch back in 2006.  Sky is a big part of the skypro family and is why we are called skypro costumes.  Sky has been with us for 10 years now and is doing wonderful, although retired from competitive barrel racing, we love him to bits and are proud to have him as our company mascot.

Edit:

After 10 long years together we are sad to say sky has passed on January 23 2017.  We will miss him but not forget him. With that said he will still be our mascot for skyprocostumes and carry on in our hearts and minds.
